without test, using SED1374 register settings and 
applying this rule:

The SED1374 register contents were taken while
displaying a 240x320x4 image on a KHS038AA...
Kyocera LCD module.  See file 74B-38.txt for
full documentation of that test.

REGISTER CONFIGURATION  
  To assist in interpreting the registers, here
  is my record of setting them via 1374CFG.exe.

 PANEL TAB
 (The following settings are absolutely required
 by the Kyocera K_S038AA LCD modules)

    color, single, STN, 8bit, 240 x 320, format 2.

 (The following settings are within their range
  in the Kyocera specs for this LCD)

     FrameRate (fps)=76, InputClock (kHz)=7500.

 (The following settings are defaults that make
  the SDU1374 work.) 
      Mod Count = 0, LookUp Table = 4 BPP,
      MemoryLocation=0xD0000,
      FPLineStart=16, FPFrameStart=0, 
      FPline Hi, FPframe Hi, 
      Misc. Options all not checked.
