This is an example of a custom solution used in a semiconductor testing application. The lens design offers two levels of magnification through a single optical path, with very high precision. It was designed to switch between the two sensors to provide very fast images of a wafer surface with both low and high magnification images in order to provide very swift and precise alignment feedback to the system. This was used in conjunction with a complicated off-axis illumination system (not pictured) to provide varying intensities and angles of light. Units shown are in inches.
