Kyocera's Beam Positioning Monitors (BPMs), like ceramic chambers are employed in the most advanced light-source research projects. The BPM is a critical component for maintaining electron beams in their intended position as they run at near-light-speed within the center of a synchrotron radiation facility's storage ring. Tristan (KEK), SPring-8 (Super Photon Ring-8GeV) and other accelerators are supported by Kyocera’s BPM components which offer excellent electrical characteristics (VSWR) and are compatible with SMA and N-type connectors.
