Sales Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
KYOCERA INDUSTRIAL CERAMICS CORPORATION, a leading
manufacturer of technical ceramic products, has an immediate opening in our Austin, TX sales office for a Sales Engineer.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate with a wide variety of internal and external engineering, sales, production and purchasing personnel at all levels.
- Facilitate contract negotiations and customer complaint resolution.
- Work with application engineers on new product development.
- Generate new business with established products and by working with engineers on new products.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated initiative in solving problems
- Strong technical comprehension
- Ability to generate new business
- Ability to resolve conflict effectively
- Ability to solve customers' needs
- Well organized with demonstrated practice of appropriate follow-up
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including Windows, Word, and Excel
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
