Inside Sales Rep
Location: San Jose, CA
KYOCERA INDUSTRIAL CERAMICS CORPORATION, a leading manufacturer of technical ceramic products, has an immediate opening in our San Jose, CA sales office for an Inside Sales Representative.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate with a wide variety of internal and external engineering, sales, production and purchasing personnel at all levels.
- Support outside sales on contract negotiation and customer complaint resolution.
- Administrative and clerical support to outside sales people and applications engineers for contract negotiation, customer problem resolution, order tracking and reporting, and new product development.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong technical comprehension
- Demonstrated initiative in solving problems
- Ability to resolve conflict effectively
- Ability to solve customers' needs
- Well organized with demonstrated practice of appropriate follow-up
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including Windows, Word, and Excel
- Previous customer service/sales experience
- SAP experience a plus
- Experience in semiconductor industry a plus
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical background, or experience in lieu of technical education.
