An intense focus on industrial, instrumentation, hand-held, medical and other low
to medium volume markets makes Kyocera unique among liquid crystal display
manufacturer's. While the competition chases the high-volume applications,
Kyocera is developing the products and infrastructure to satisfy these more
stable, performance oriented markets.
With sizes from 3.5" to 10.4" diagonal and formats from QVGA to VGA, Kyocera
has the largest STN color transflective product line in the market and also offers a
wide temperature option (-20 t0 +70 C) in all transmissive and transflective
products. Kyocera offers models with touch panels already installed, LED or CFL
backlights, and wide viewing angles.
Kyocera introduced its first TFT product in 2003. That first transmissive 5.7" QVGA
product has now been joined by 6.2", 7.5", 8.5", and 10.4" TFT models. Today we
offer a wide range of variations in these traditional sizes including transflective
versions, CFL or LED backlights, installed Film/Glass or Glass/Glass touch
panels, -30 to +85 C operating temperature range models, ultra thin and light
versions, and available on-board Constant Current Circuits.
Kyocera's V-Series modules offer STN and TFT models with mechanical
interface compatibility within a given size. Our TL-Series features some of the
thinnest and lightest weight LCD modules in the market. Great for small, light
weight, hand held products.
The complete product line has over 165 models to chose from. Even so, if you
can't find what you need, talk to us about a modified standard or even a full
custom part. And never worry about EOL issues, since Kyocera's long-term
supply commitment means that you'll be able to get the display you want for as
long as you want it.
With its technology, product selection, quality, and long term supply commitment
Kyocera has cemented its position as the leading supplier for small/medium
markets where benchmark performance at competitive pricing is a must.
