Kyocera has been a leader in the optical industry since our lens product division first opened its doors 75 years ago. Originally known as the Tomioka Optical Laboratory, our first products were camera lenses for the Photographic Industry. Since then our markets for lens products have grown to include scanners, laser applications, microscopes, digital imaging, machine vision, fiber communications, and many other areas. Whether customers want single lens elements, lens assemblies, or complex electro-mechanical subsystems, Kyocera can provide cost-effective and high-performance solutions.
