Zoom Lenses
Kyocera offers two standard zoom engines for our customer applications. We have a basic design which offers a 5x zoom range. This zoom function is accomplished by manually adjustment, and by using various available adaptors the levels of magnification can be shifted.
For more demanding applications such as an automated production facility that requires zoom inspection capability, we have designed a series of High-Durability Zoom lenses. These lens systems have been designed with reliability as the top priority. These systems can be counted on to provide steadfast repeatability for up to 10,000,000 cycles without requiring any operator adjustment. This is the most versatile, durable zoom lens technology available in the market. The zoom range is typically 10x, and can be designed with different lenses to provide levels of magnification as required by our customers.
