Kyocera's ceramic chambers have been proven in major high-energy physics projects worldwide. Advances in particle physics research and synchrotron radiation applications will provide a foundation for many emerging technologies of the 21st century. Running charged electrons and protons within a ring accelerator requires a powerful, controlled magnetic field that is maintained using ceramic components. Kyocera's single-tube ceramic chambers can be as long as 1000mm while offering complete hermeticity of 1.3 x 10(-10) Pam3/s. A non-magnetic option is also available.
