KYOCERA Introduces New, Expanded CERATIP Cutting Tool Catalog

Mountain Home, NC -– September 2, 2004 –- Kyocera Industrial Ceramics Corporation, CERATIP Cutting Tool Division, announces the introduction of a new, expanded general catalog.

The new cutting tool catalog features a full line of products for turning, boring, milling, drilling, grooving, threading and cut-off applications.

New insert grades such as CVD coated carbides CA4115/CA4120 for ductile iron and PV7020/TN6020 super micro-grain cermets are included in the catalog, along with new CBN inserts with chipbreakers, PCD grades and more.

Kyocera’s indexable Magic Drill, multi-function Ultra Drill Mill and anti-vibration Strong Bar are highlighted, with the Strong Bar now available in larger sizes including 3/4” and 1” diameters.

The technical section has been expanded with additional detail.
