TELUS Mobility Introduces Hip New Youth-Oriented Phone from KYOCERA Wireless

Customizable KYOCERA "Energi" has changeable faceplates, color screen and even a built-in flashlight

Scarborough, Ontario -- (November 1, 2004) -- Kyocera Wireless Corp. and TELUS Mobility today announced the Kyocera K494 Energi, an affordable wireless phone aimed at youthful buyers that is characterized by unique styling and personalization features, including user-changeable faceplates and easy ringtone and image downloads.

The Kyocera K494 is now available from TELUS Mobility across Canada for both prepaid and postpaid clients. Postpaid clients can buy the Kyocera K494 for as little as $24.99 on a three-year contract or $149.99 for those opting for month-to-month service. Pay & Talk prepaid clients can get the Kyocera K494 bundled with a $50 prepaid airtime card, charger and activation code for $179.99.
