KYOCERA Mita America Launches Optimized Website to Meet the Evolving Needs of Business and IT Professionals

Web redesign to help integrate document solutions within corporate IT strategy

October 20, 2004 – Fairfield, New Jersey – Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today announced that it has completed the first phase of a website redesign aimed at optimizing the user experience. The enhanced website will provide users with easier access to both business and IT-centric information and resources. Kyocera Mita America’s website optimization initiative is part of the company’s effort to align the needs of customers’ IT administrators with their overall business strategies.

“Kyocera has made it a priority to meet the evolving needs of IT departments,” said Michael Pietrunti, senior vice president of marketing and technical services for Kyocera Mita America. “These types of corporate-wide initiatives reinforce our commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of both IT and business professionals. We will continue to optimize the website and all of our solutions to help support the needs of our customers.”

In addition to Kyocera Mita America’s website enhancements, it has also recently taken other steps towards refining its software solution strategy. Kyocera Mita America recently announced an agreement with Notable Solutions Inc. (NSi) through which they will sell NSi’s AutoStore document capture, process and routing framework in order to optimize document workflow for the office.

Additionally, Kyocera Mita America launched their Network Solutions Group which partners with Kyocera’s dealers, resellers and end-users meet both IT and business needs by providing pre-sales and post-sales support by overseeing the entire deployment process from installation and integration to aftermarket.

Kyocera Mita America also recently announced that all internal sales and marketing personnel, as well as Total Solution Provide dealers are now required to obtain a Certified Document Imaging Architech Certification (CDIA+). With CDIA+ Certification, dealers and resellers are assured they have the most knowledgeable and qualified document imaging representatives working for them. Those that become certified have a strong working knowledge of technologies and solutions necessary to coordinate and specify a specific document imaging system or solution.
