Kyocera Mita Receives Top Honor from the Office Products Analysts First Annual Multi-Functional Product Dealer Survey

Kyocera Mita rated number one supplier of multi-functional products by nationwide survey of service managers

Fairfield, New Jersey – October 2, 2002 - Kyocera Mita, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, was honored with top ratings in the first annual multi-functional product (MFP) survey of service managers throughout the United States conducted by Industry Analysts, Inc. Kyocera Mita received the highest supplier rating for MFP’s. Results of the survey are published in the June 2002 issue of Industry Analysts, Inc.’s monthly newsletter, The Office Products Analyst, (OPA).

Kyocera Mita earned a “Best in Class” rating for two multi-functional products, the KM-3530 and KM-4530 models, in addition to nine models qualifying for a “Technician Recommended” rating. Kyocera Mita’s product performance rating in areas such as product reliability, photocopier reliability, printer reliability, network compatibility, general ease of maintenance, ease of operator maintenance, color reliability, internet printing, general application compatibility, image quality for prints, image quality for copiers and function contention were also ranked significantly higher than alternate brands in the survey.

“We asked the service managers in our survey to rate their primary brand models in each of 15 critical areas. Kyocera Mita received the highest overall rating,” said Andy Slawetsky, senior analyst, Industry Analysts, Inc. “In this year’s study, Kyocera Mita has the most first place ratings with 13, as well as the highest overall rating. We commend Kyocera Mita for their outstanding dedication to the highest level of dealer service.”
