KYOCERA Mita America Multifunctional Products Recognized for Outstanding Reliability Three Out of Four Years

KYOCERA Ranks First in 10 Performance Categories as Most Reliable by Industry Analysts

Fairfield, New Jersey – July 17, 2006 – Kyocera Mita America, one of the world’s leading document imaging companies, today announced that is has been honored by Industry Analysts Inc. for the most reliable multifunctional products (MFPs), based on Industry Analysts’ Annual Multifunctional Product Reliability Study. Kyocera has been the recipient of this prestigious industry award for three of the past four years. The award is the result of a national dealer survey to determine the manufacturer with the most reliable MFPs as rated by dealership service managers.

Industry Analysts conducted in-depth telephone interviews with service managers in copier dealerships nationwide, consisting of 43,766 total multifunctional units installed. Copier dealer service managers were questioned on the products they work closely with on a daily basis in a verity of categories including: Product Reliability, Frequency of Service Calls, Image Quality, Operability and Functionality and Maintenance/Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
