KYOCERA Mita America Multifunctional Products Recognized for Outstanding Reliability Four Out of Five Years

KYOCERA Ranks First in 29 Performance Categories as Most Reliable by Industry Analysts, Inc.

Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today announced that is has been honored by Industry Analysts Inc. for the most reliable multifunctional products (MFPs), based on Industry Analysts Inc.'s Annual 2006 Multifunctional Product Reliability Study. Kyocera has been the recipient of this prestigious industry award for an unprecedented four of the past five years. The award is the result of a national dealer survey to determine the manufacturer with the most reliable MFPs as rated by dealership service managers.

"When looking at the results of our annual survey over the last five years, no other company's MFPs have been rated as reliable as Kyocera's," said Andy Slawetsky, president, Industry Analysts Inc. "Service managers in this study have consistently given Kyocera devices the highest marks in an area that is of major importance to customers choosing a new device."

Industry Analysts conducted in-depth telephone interviews with service managers in copier dealerships nationwide, consisting of more than 33,000 total multifunctional units installed. Copier dealer service managers were questioned on the products they work closely with on a daily basis. Kyocera rated highest in the following three categories: Products, Service Support, and Reliability.

"Having dealers and service managers across the country select Kyocera's line of MFPs as the most reliable products in today's market is truly an honor," said Peter Hendrick, vice president of marketing for Kyocera Mita America. "This confirms that Kyocera's award-winning technology meets the growing needs of today's office environment while offering speed, reliability, and versatility at a low total cost of ownership."
