Caracas, (October 25, 2006) -- Kyocera Wireless Corp., a leading global manufacturer of CDMA wireless phones and devices, announced today that it has established a sponsorship agreement with the professional Venezuelan baseball team Los Tigres de Aragua. The agreement, which is for the 2006-2007 Venezuelan baseball season, includes the semi-finals, round robin and playoffs; should the team make it to any of these rounds.

"For Kyocera Wireless, as a company strongly committed to social development, it is extremely important to support activities that are meaningful to the country, such as baseball, a favorite sport of Venezuelans. We are particularly proud to sponsor the outstanding Tigres de Aragua," said Julio Jordan, Country Manager of Kyocera Wireless in Venezuela.

The agreement, signed through Cosmocolor C.A., provides for the team's caps to bear the Kyocera name and logo on the back, placement of promotional rotating billboards at home base at the José Pérez Colmenares stadium in Maracay, as well as lighted access at four doors of the stadium. It also specifies six 20-second rotating commercials to be aired by Auténtica 107.5 FM radio, as well as an additional six 30-second rotating commercials on TRV television, during peak hours from Monday to Sunday.

In addition, under the agreement, the Kyocera brand will appear at least once on the stadium's electronic billboard during each game played on the team's home field.
