KYOCERA Mita America Achieves ISO 14001:2004 Certification

Certification Acknowledges KYOCERA Mita America For Effective Environmental Resource Management and Environmentally Friendly Practices

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – May 16 2007 – Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced its Environmental Management System (EMS) at its United States facilities has achieved ISO (International Standard Organization) 14001:2004 certification. This annual certification, verified though an independent audit, is used to distinguish corporations that effectively manage how their activities, products and services impact the environment.

Achieving ISO 14001:2004 certification underscores Kyocera Mita America’s commitment to reduce waste and the consumption of energy/natural resources caused by normal operations such as sales, service and distribution.
