KYOCERA Multi Grater Wins 2016 ICON Honors for Technology Innovation

COSTA MESA, Calif. – The Kyocera Multi Grater, designed for grating parmesan cheese, garlic, ginger, chocolate and more, has won a 2016 ICON Honors Award for Technology Innovation.  Over 1,000 industry professionals attended the seventh annual ICON Honors presentation on July 14, 2016 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.

The Multi Grater is made from advanced ceramic, a material close in hardness to diamond. The award-winning design features rows of sharp ceramic teeth that will stay sharp up to 10 times longer than steel, and will never disturb natural flavors by imparting a metallic taste or odor.

Ingredients can be grated with an up-and-down motion since the teeth cut both ways.  A white silicone edge lets you brace the Multi Grater on a cutting board without slipping.  It is dishwasher safe, rustproof, lightweight and easy to use, a tool that will stay beautiful over time.

Kyocera, a global leader in advanced ceramics, offers a wide range of products beyond the kitchen as well — in applications ranging from the International Space Station and the Mars Rovers to supercomputers, automotive engines, and orthopedic joint replacement systems.
