KYOCERA Recognized as “Printer Manufacturer of the Year” By Marketing Research Consultants, Inc.

KYOCERA Recognized for Outstanding Dealer Support and Competitive Product Line

Fairfield, New Jersey, August 8, 2005 – Kyocera Mita America, one of the world’s leading document imaging companies, today announced that it has been named “Printer Manufacturer of the Year” by Marketing Research Consultants, Inc. Results of the survey are published in the July issue of The Cannata Report, a Marketing Research Consultants, Inc. publication. The award is the result of a national dealer survey to determine the manufacturer who provides overall support to their dealer network.

The “Printer Manufacturer of the Year” award is bestowed on the manufacturer that provides the best overall support in the industry as determined by the 367 dealers who participated in the Report's 20th Annual Dealer Survey. This manufacturer must possess excellent communication skills, competitive products, and programs that enable the independent copier dealer to achieve a high degree of success in a very competitive marketplace.

"We are extremely pleased and honored to be acknowledged by the independent dealer community,” said Michael Pietrunti, senior vice president of marketing and technical services for Kyocera Mita America. “This award confirms our commitment to our superb network of dealers to provide them the highest quality, most reliable digital products along with exceptional support."

Kyocera's award-winning printer and multifunction line is available to independent dealers, along with a host of innovative document solutions developed to meet the entire spectrum of customers’ document imaging needs in today’s digital business environment.
