KYOCERA Mita America Launches 23 Page-Per-Minute Monochrome Desktop ECOSYS® Printer

Powerful features, long life consumables and low cost makes the FS-1030D an optimal solution for small workgroups

Fairfield, New Jersey – December 19, 2005 – Kyocera Mita America, one of the world’s leading document imaging companies, today introduced the FS-1030D, a 23 page-per-minute (PPM) desktop monochrome ECOSYS printer. The FS-1030D, which features Kyocera’s renowned combination of high reliability and low total cost of ownership, is an economical document printing solution designed for desktops, small offices and small workgroup environments.

“The FS-1030D is versatile enough to print on a variety of materials effortlessly, including bond and recycled paper, transparencies, labels and envelopes,” said Richard J. The easy to operate and IT-friendly FS-1030D incorporates Kyocera’s ECOSYS® cartridge-free printer technology, which allows toner to be replenished in the printer without disposal of the print drum. This not only cuts down on the amount of waste material, but also reduces toner replacement costs up to two thirds compared to other printers in this class.

FS-1030D features include:
· A productive 23 PPM output speed (letter)
· Standard 250 sheet drawer plus 50 sheet multi-purpose tray for today’s demanding business environments
· Large 32MB standard RAM with a maximum of 788MB for increased productivity
