KYOCERA Mita America Receives Second Consecutive "Printer Manufacturer of the Year" Award From Marketing Research Consultants, Inc.

KYOCERA Honored for Delivering Outstanding Dealer Support and Competitive Products

Fairfield, New Jersey, May 23, 2006 – Kyocera Mita America, one of the world’s leading document imaging companies, today announced that it has been named "Printer Manufacturer of the Year" by Marketing Research Consultants, Inc. Kyocera has been the recipient of this prestigious industry award for two consecutive years. Results of the survey are published in the July issue of The Cannata Report, a Marketing Research Consultants, Inc. publication and are based upon the responses of independent office equipment dealers nationwide.

“Kyocera is to be commended for its ability to consistently provide desktop printer products for the independent dealer,” said Frank G. Cannata, president, Marketing Research Consultants. “Dealers overwhelmingly selected Kyocera as the printer manufacturer of the year.”

The “Printer Manufacturer of the Year” award is bestowed on the manufacturer that provides the best overall sales and service support in the industry as determined by the 367 dealers who participated in the report’s 21st Annual Dealer Survey. Manufacturers are rated on communication skills, competitive products, and programs that enable the independent copier dealer to achieve a high degree of success in a very competitive marketplace.

“We are honored to be acknowledged by the independent dealer community as the printer manufacturer of the year,” said Peter Hendrick, vice president of marketing, Kyocera Mita America. “Kyocera’s goal is to deliver high performance, high quality printers that offer the lowest total cost of ownership. With our advanced technology and long-life consumables, both dealers and end-users can be confident Kyocera printers are the most reliable and product products available in today’s market.”

Kyocera’s award winning printer line is available through authorized Kyocera dealers, along with a host of KYOsolutions, including the document management solutions iTag and KYOcapture. Kyocera’s products and solutions are designed to efficiently and cost-effectively meet the full spectrum of its customers’ document imaging needs.
