KYOCERA Mita America Introduces Document Management Solution for Small Businesses or Departmental Environments
iTags Scalable and Easy-to-Use Design Enables End Users to Capture, Scan, Index and Share Electronic Documents
Fairfield, New Jersey – April 19, 2006 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, unveiled iTag at today’s National Dealer Meeting in Orlando, Florida. iTag is an intuitive, user-friendly document management solution ideal for small businesses or departments.
iTag is an “out of the box” solution that offers all of the document management capabilities necessary for a small business or department to start a document management initiative. iTag seamlessly integrates with select Kyocera multifunctional products (MFPs) and comes standard with a server, kiosk and touch screen validation station. The validation station enables end users to review a scanned image, index information and reorder or remove pages from a multi-page file, all with the touch of a button. Bundled with a Dell™ Server and Microsoft Windows® SharePoint Services®, iTag offers users the option to upgrade to KYOcapture Powered by AutoStore, Kyocera’s award-winning server-based document capture workflow solution, as their document management needs grow.
“iTag is the ideal solution for any small business or departmental environment that demands a sophisticated, scalable and easy to use document management system,” said Peter Hendrick, vice president of marketing, Kyocera Mita America. “By linking directly to an end user’s network, iTag’s kiosk and validation station can be placed wherever it is most convenient, whether it be in a server room or next to a Kyocera MFP. We are confident iTag will help businesses effectively manage their paper-based documents, leading to a more organized and streamlined work environment.”
iTag is an easy to use end to end solution that gives IT staff the management tools they require, without an existing infrastructure. Administrators can manage document security and access while users have the flexibility and customization they need to share information and get their work done efficiently and productively.
