KYOCERA Mita America Enhances Interactive Tool To Analyze Enterprise Printing Costs

KYOCERA Partners with FMAudit to improve productivity of TCO Optimizer

Fairfield, New Jersey – January 18, 2006 -- Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world’s leading digital document imaging companies, and FMAudit, a business solution provider, announced a partnership to provide accurate assessments of enterprise printing costs for networked and local print devises. Kyocera’s TCO Optimizer and FMAudit’s Viewer and Viewer USB are integrated and available.

FMAudit’s product suite accelerates the network print environment analysis by allowing dealers to accurately measure print volume on all network MFPs and printers over any specific period of time without pre-installing software. This analysis is used to populate Kyocera’s TCO Optimzer and allow dealers to simulate proposed solutions by automatically generating a total cost of ownership report. Developed to complement Kyocera’s TCO Tracker and TCO Calculator, the TCO Optimizer identifies potential savings to determine device deployment scenarios based on utilizing Kyocera devices.

“Our partnership with FMAudit improves the print asset identification process,” said Victor Jacksier, software product manager, Kyocera Mita America. “By responding quickly to customer demands for improved output strategies, Kyocera’s dealers can address related cost issues by clearly illustrating how customers can manage expenditures and measure operating efficiency.”

The TCO Optimizer is absolutely free, and available only through authorized Kyocera independent dealers, and is intended to help maximize the productivity and efficiency of a customer’s document workflow by:

· Accurately measuring print volume on all network MFPs and printers over any specific period of time;

· Automatically generating reports simulating “before and after” device deployment scenarios based on actual business needs;  and

· Displaying the potential costs savings realized by replacing all or a portion of the current output fleet with Kyocera MFPs and printers.
