Verizon Wireless Brings the Bluetooth-Enabled KYOCERA K323 Camera Phone to Holiday Shoppers

Internal antenna and sleek design makes this Get It Now flip phone the perfect stocking stuffer

San Diego and Basking Ridge, NJ -- (November 22, 2006) -- Kyocera Wireless Corp., a leading global manufacturer of CDMA wireless phones and devices, and Verizon Wireless today announced the availability of the Kyocera K323, a compact camera phone with an internal antenna and Bluetooth® wireless technology. The Kyocera K323 is Get It Now® enabled and features a large keypad for easy text messaging – making it a great gift for anyone this holiday season.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the Kyocera K323 is small and pocketable with an external text caller ID and photo caller ID on the vivid internal color display. Dedicated one-touch buttons access a loud and clear speakerphone as well as volume controls, and the phone’s full-featured camera has an integrated flash and digital zoom. Photo touchup is easy for adjusting resolution, color and adding fun frames to favorite snapshots. Along with the wireless hands-free capabilities afforded by Bluetooth, the K323 also includes all the features voice purists need including real-music ringtones and voice-activated dialing. For those who prefer to “talk” with their thumbs, multimedia text messaging and instant messaging are simplified with a large backlit keypad and predictive text input software for rapid text entry.

This latest Verizon Wireless handset by Kyocera comes Get It Now ready, so users can download a variety of ringtones, games, wallpapers and screensavers in addition to those already on the phone, allowing further customization of the handset. K323 also comes with a variety of helpful tools including a photo phone book that holds up to 500 entries, alarm clock, tip calculator and voice memos to help keep the user on track throughout the day.

“The Kyocera K323 has all of the features that most people want in a camera phone in one compact design,” said Tom Maguire, vice president of global marketing at Kyocera Wireless Corp. “Whether it’s making a call, sending a text message or taking a quick picture, K323 makes the user experience as simple as possible in an attractive and stylish handset that fits easily into a pocket or purse.”

Measuring just 3.54 in. x 1.81 in. x 0.92 in., the K323 weighs only 3.4 ounces and has a CDMA talk time of up to 210 minutes and standby time of up to 165 hours. It is equipped with a secure battery containing patent-pending technology for increased security and safety, just one of the many Genuine Accessories by Kyocera™ available for the Kyocera K323.
