KYOCERA Mita Corporation Promotes Michael Pietrunti to CEO of Kyocera Mita America

Extends Management Role to KYOCERA Mita Companies in North and South America; Pietrunti Also Named Executive Officer of Kyocera Mita Corporation

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – May 21, 2007 Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced that the board of directors of Kyocera Mita Corporation, has appointed Michael Pietrunti as CEO of Kyocera Mita America, effective immediately. Under this role, Pietrunti, who has served as president of Kyocera Mita America’s US based company, will now direct business strategies and operations for Kyocera Mita companies in Canada, Mexico and Brazil. In Japan, Kyocera Mita Corporation also appointed Pietrunti to the position of Executive Officer, a significant promotion for the head of the New Jersey-based subsidiary.

Since joining the company in 2003 Pietrunti has set forth aggressive business goals, outlining plans for Kyocera Mita America to be a $1 billion company. Since that time Kyocera Mita America has realized significant sales and profit growth as well as, significantly growing its’ brand awareness in the US market. For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, Kyocera Mita America reported Its’ fifth consecutive year of revenue growth and profit growth while increasing printer and MFP unit sales on a double-digit pace versus the previous year.
