KYOCERA Mita America Strengthens Color Multifunctional Product Line with Breakthrough Color and Monochrome Output
KM-C3232E, KM-C3225E and KM-C2525E Offer Strong Image Quality, Optimal Productivity and Highest-in-Class Preventive Maintenance Cycle of 300,000 Impressions
Fairfield, New Jersey – July 17, 2007 -- Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today strengthened its color lineup by introducing the KM-C3232E, KM-C3225E and KM-C2525E multifunctional products (MFPs). Perfect for environments that demand an MFP that produces crisp monochrome output with superior full color, these models offer speed, superior image quality, reliability and of course affordability.
The KM-C3232E, KM-C3225E and KM-C2525E MFPs deliver 32 pages per minute (ppm) color and 32 ppm monochrome; 25 ppm color and 32 monochrome; 25 ppm color and 25 monochrome, respectively. Due to Kyocera’s long-life amorphous silicon (ASi) drums, these models feature an industry leading preventive maintenance (PM) cycle of 300,000 impressions. This incredible PM cycle helps to minimize costs for the user and therefore creates longer intervals of time between required service visits.
“Designed to economically manage the output demands of fast-paced organizations, these highly cost-effective document solutions include superior finishing and paper handling options and brilliant color output,” said Danielle Jurasek, product and solutions marketing manager, Kyocera Mita America. “In addition, a new standard on this series is a PDF enhancement kit – which offers compression and encryption functionality directly from the MFP’s control panel when scanning. This series of color MFPs will be powerful additions to any office environment and will satisfy any organization’s demanding color and black and white output needs.”
The devices’ print and scan drivers are conveniently Microsoft Vista Premium certified. The devices also feature a standard 40GB system hard disk drive, a variety of advanced finishing and paper handling options and optional Super G3 fax/network fax capabilities for high-speed delivery of your documents. Kyocera offers several layers of network and data security to deploy printing, scanning, and copying safely in any business or government environment. Security for these networked MFPs can be enhanced through the optional Data Security Kit (D). This Data Security Kit overwrites the data of the document on the hard drive when the device is powered up, and/or after each copy, print and scan job.
All three color MFPs are fully compatible with a series of document management solutions developed by Kyocera, including:
• iTag, Kyocera’s user-friendly document management solution which allows users to capture, store, share and retrieve electronic documents at the touch of a button;
• KYOcapture Express, a simplified document capture workflow solution designed for small to medium sized businesses allowing users to capture paper documents, index and OCR them for full-text search capabilities directly from the MFP; and
• KYOcapture powered by AutoStore, a large workgroup/enterprise document capture workflow solution which enables select Kyocera MFPs to seamlessly capture, process and route paper or electronic-based documents to multiple locations and document management systems.
