Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. announces its inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Print Services , Worldwide 1. MDS stands for Managed Document Services. It is superior to Managed Print Services (MPS) because where MPS only focuses on output, MDS optimizes your entire document output process – from capturing to archiving, workflows to security and environmental impact.

Kyocera has focused on building a sound framework to ensure that the needs of customers can be comprehensively addressed. With this foundation Kyocera has shown that it can meet the needs of businesses from small and medium sized companies to multi- national corporations. Kyocera was also able to demonstrate the flexibility of its solutions across many business sectors, it offers multi vendor support and stands out because of its ability to address some key requirements. The Kyocera MDS model is a five step ADIMO approach (Asses, Design, Implement, Manage and Optimize), these phases offers the customer individual support at every stage.

In April, the company changed its name to Kyocera Document Solutions to reflect this new strategic direction. “These are exciting times for Kyocera Document Solutions, we are well on our way, to achieve our goal of being a global player in the field of document services. We believe the inclusion in the Magic Quadrant confirms that our strategic alignment as a provider of holistic document management solutions is right.” said Ryuzo Morita, Director and Senior General Manager, Corporate Strategy Planning Division at Kyocera Document Solutions.

Kyocera has built the solution business expertise over 7 years and will continue to invest in its worldwide infrastructure, with a focus on appropriate software, hardware and service solutions. Kyocera´s aim is to support companies all over the world in the optimisation of their processes and reduction of their costs.
