Dealers Pack Annual Business & Technology Conference as KYOCERA Document Solutions America Continues to Impress
New technology, new apps, and new dealer support services build on already-strong momentum, open new opportunities for Kyocera dealerships
Orlando, FL – May 17, 2016 – It was standing room only in the ballroom at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate as KYOCERA Document Solutions America welcomed more than 1000 dealer participants from across the Americas. Drawing on a theme of “ACCELERATION, Driving Technology Forward,” the company’s leadership – including its new president & CEO Mr. Yukio Ikeda – previewed more than 30 new A3 and A4 devices, new business applications, and new dealer support services that had the room buzzing.
The annual Business & Technology Conference is one of the industry’s signature events. It marks the beginning of fiscal year 2017 for Kyocera, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies.
“Let me congratulate you on helping to make FY16 another record-breaking year,” began new KYOCERA Document Solutions America president and CEO Yukio Ikeda, who is back in the U.S. after running the company’s Italy unit. “My intention is to make this business even stronger.”
Dealers were treated to a detailed preview of the new technology and new programs coming in the year ahead – one that promises to be among the most innovative in Kyocera’s long history.
New A3 and A4 Devices
With more than 30 new, upgraded, and faster devices, Kyocera is bolstering almost every segment of its TASKalfa and ECOSYS lines of MFPs and printers: high-speed full-size A3 devices, smaller footprint A4s, in both monochrome and color, and all with Kyocera’s long-life technology and industry-leading reliability. The devices are available with flexible finishing configurations, and all HyPAS-enabled MFPs run the full range of Kyocera Business Applications. Kyocera MFPs and printers are customizable for virtually every document imaging need across industries.
New Business Applications
Kyocera’s ongoing innovation isn’t limited to hardware. With several new and updated business applications, the company continues to add to its comprehensive range of powerful software add-ons.. Kyocera apps streamline countless specific document-related business processes, add security and cost-control features, and enable mobile and cloud-based printing. The new apps include several “connectors,” which allow Kyocera MFPs to integrate seamlessly with many of the most popular 3rd party document and content management systems available on the market today.
New Dealer Support Programs and Initiatives
Kyocera continued to solidify its position as the industry’s most dealer-centric company, which it recognizes as the primary driver of its success. Ed Bialecki, conference MC and Senior Vice President, Sales at KYOCERA Document Solutions America addressed the dealers directly: “You are the reason I’m able to stand here year after year and announce record results.”
With more than 1000 dealer participants in attendance, Kyocera used the conference as an opportunity to announce exciting new dealer-focused initiatives.
KYOCERA Fleet Services
This next-generation cloud-based remote monitoring system allows dealers to resolve numerous maintenance issues, including firmware updates, without sending a technician to customer locations. KYOCERA Fleet Services also provides comprehensive customer usage data, offering dealers unprecedented ability to meet evolving customer needs.
KYOCERA Foundations
