FAIRFIELD, N.J. – June 7, 2016 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced the introduction of the TASKalfa 3252ci and TASKalfa 2552ci Multifunctional Products (MFPs). The two MFPs are among the many new products being introduced by Kyocera this year.
Designed specifically for small and medium-sized workgroups, these lower-volume MFPs offer many of the advanced features of the top-of-the-line TASKalfa models to be introduced later this year, including Kyocera’s new toner technology and the rich, full-spectrum color that technology delivers.
“The color, the resolution, the scalability, the wireless connectivity – it’s all world class,” said Douglas Cole, Director of Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing Division for KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “As with every Kyocera MFP, it’s about offering the functionality our customers care about most.”
The 3252ci Series includes 32-ppm and 25-ppm models, both of which deliver superb color capability and 1200x1200 dpi print resolution through new toner technology and superior Kyocera OPC drum technology. And, for companies with even greater image quality needs, or particularly complex workflows, the 32-ppm model offers an optional Fiery® print controller.
Some of most exciting features go well beyond traditional MFP functionality. “Our customers are demanding mobile printing and scanning capabilities, and that certainly includes smaller workgroups,” said Jim Fuller, Product Marketing Manager, Corporate Marketing Group.
Both models provide standard WiFi-Direct and NFC support for Android mobile devices. Like Kyocera’s high-volume MFPs, the 3252ci Series is HyPas-enabled, ready to run not only Apple AirPrint®, Google Cloud Print™, and Kyocera Mobile Print, but also all of the 60+ business applications Kyocera now offers.
The new MFPs impress on more traditional features as well: An intuitive 9-inch, 90-degree-tilt touch-screen interface; simplified toner cartridge replacement; tiered-color billing; reduced service time; and a wide range of scalable configurations, including a new 500-sheet internal finisher.
“The TASKalfa 3252ci Series is a flexible information-sharing hub, which incorporates a vast array of cutting-edge technologies,” continued Fuller. “For customers looking for more information, our sales teams are ready to provide plenty of details.”
Pricing and Availability
The TASKalfa 3252ci Series is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $9,224 for the TASKalfa 3252ci, and $8,110 for the TASKalfa 2552ci. To find a dealer, visit Kyocera’s dealer locator at www.kyoceradocumentsolutions.com/us.
