KYOCERA Document Solutions America Receives Buyers Lab “Gold” Rating for DMConnect

Leading industry authority cites power, ease of use, and workflow productivity in enthusiastic endorsement of Kyocera’s customizable business application.

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – October 25, 2016 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced that Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) has awarded Kyocera DMConnect its “Gold Tested Solution” rating in its recent hands-on evaluation.

BLI is a leading independent provider of product intelligence for the imaging industry, trusted by buyers and IT directors around the world. BLI analysts were impressed with DMConnect’s “combination of power and simplicity,” calling it an affordable solution for a company’s essential document capture/routing needs.

“It’s easy for network administrators. It’s even easier for end-users,” said Jamie Bsales, Director, Office Workflow Solutions Analysis at BLI. “DMConnect is a truly impressive solution for streamlining document workflow.”

DMConnect is among more than 60 business applications offered by Kyocera to help companies across industries capture, distribute, and manage their documents more efficiently and cost-effectively.

“Kyocera is proud of DMConnect and thrilled with the recommendation from Buyers Lab. We’re confident that our dealers and their customers will be equally impressed,” said Danielle Wolowitz, Vice President, Corporate Marketing Division for KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “Our customers are looking to simplify their work processes. Apps continue to play a central role. In addition to technology upgrades, they’re requesting workflow improvements. DMConnect delivers just that.”

DMConnect is an MFP- and server-based application that enables any Kyocera HyPAS-enabled MFP to serve as an on-ramp to a company’s existing Document Management System. Paper documents can be captured, automatically indexed, processed, and routed for storage – all from the MFP control panel. They can be added to e-mails, network folders, Microsoft SharePoint, ODBC-databases, and other document management systems through XML import.

With tight integration with Active Directory, plus device- and user-grouping capabilities, DMConnect also allows administrators to restrict user access for added security. The application has developed several different components tailored for organizations operating in the education, finance, healthcare, and legal industries.
